    Covenient and close to Baylor.

The matress was not comfortable. It was very hard, making sleep difficult. I would stay there regularly if they had better beds.

the check in person was friendly & helpful

location:heard all the I35 noise all night long, cleanliness:blood stains on sheet & pillow case.Had three small pillows & tried to get one more to replace blood stain pillow but was told there were no more pillows. would never stay there again. Was the low light of a great weekend in Waco, hands down.

Both the evening staff and the morning staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was clean. The price was good for this hotel. I would not pay any more than what I payed.

The room was small. It was ok because there was only two of us and it was for only one night. In the description I stated a continental breakfast and a picture of just fruits and donuts. I was relieved that there was cereal and waffles for you to cook. It was good.

I loved the staff very nice and sweet. It was very clean but I wish we had a mini refrigerator and microwave. It was a nice stay.

    1. There was a vacancy for me when I had an emergency reason to stay. 2. The price was VERY affordable. 3. The A/C was on and the room was cool when I walked in. 4. The person on the phone was very prompt in verifying my booking and I was greeted by a polite man at the desk. 5. I was able to quickly find and compare this hotel online. 6. The room was very clean. 7. The beds were so comfortable, I had the best sleep I have had in a long time. 8. My mother loved the coffee supplies. 9. All of the nicer amenities were in the room: fridge, iron, blow dryer, tv, lots of clean towels, etc. 10. The checking in procedure was very simple and easy. When the electricity was going to be shut down in our small town, we needed a cool, comfortable place to stay. The cheap motel down the street was fully booked. I was surprised that for about 10 bucks more I could get a room at the Magnuson hotel. I was even more surprised that the room was so clean and comfortable when I arrived. I would feel very safe and secure in staying at the Magnuson again. If I ever have family members coming to town and need a place to stay, I will recommend the Magnuson.

Parking place was almost too narrow.

When my granddaughter stayed there one night in August, we thought it looked like a very night place. It was close to Baylor, a somewhat reasonable rate, the receptionist at check in was a student and very nice. And the room seemed clean enough. Little did we know, it would be a night from hell.

My granddaughter and I stayed there one night when she moved into Baylor. The bathtum woould not drain and the AC was barely working. Room was hot. We called the desk and they promised maintenance who never came. We found out he had gone home! On the next complaint they moved us to another room. Same problem with AC. And there was a dead cricket in the tub. By then it was very late and we were exhausted so we roughed it out in a very uncomfortable and very warm room. When we checked out we let the desk know our problem. The girl apologized and said she would make a complaint to the management but I doubt we will hear anything from you. We paid over $70 for a very bad facility.I will never stay there again despite it's close proximity to Baylor and would not recommend it. I would very much like a refund. If you stayed at my hotel, I would certainly reimburse you. There should be periodic checks of your services so this does not happen to your guests.

It was close to all of the places we needed to go. We had all the conveniences we needed: free WiFi, refrigerator, microwave & coffee service. This hel[ed us save money for enjoying our trip.

I made mistake and reserved for the wrong weekend! Yikes! The person at the front desk took care of us! Needless to say, I was very pleased!

The water temperature in the shower would vary from one extreme to the other.

Compared to a lot of other Hotel/Motel chains we have stayed at, without a doubt it was one of the nicest facilites we've had the pleasure to stay at.

The only thing is, we feel that the pillows need to be changed more often along with the pillow cases or at the very least to have some Fabrese sprayed on them before changing the pillow cases. As the pillows smelled rank !!!

Desk staff was about the most pleasant I have ever experienced. Rooms were good and price was right.

Grouting and such in bathroom was in need of minor repairs.
